In Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is the pillar structure of the universe, the tree that connects and unifies the heavens with middle earth and the lower, denser places below; as above, so below, a universal symbol of oneness.
Also known as the World Tree, this is the tree of life symbol, which can be found echoing through various spiritual traditions, representing wholeness and completion, natural balance, life and death cycles.
